The Intercessory prayer of the elderly is a very important prayer for the world. Thomas Merton speaks of the elderly as 'tabernacles of God in the world.'
"They are the ones who keep the universe from being destroyed, they are the little ones, they do not know themselves, but the whole earth depends on them."
I dedicate this specially to my very dear sister Jeannette who is not 100% well.
